Project Description
Peshtigo River Whitewater Rafting
EXPERIENCE THE THRILL
Trip Overview
The Peshtigo River winds across northeastern Wisconsin and is the perfect venue for a day of whitewater rafting! The Peshtigo River Rafting trip is guided professionally by Kosir’s Rapid Rafts of Silver Cliff, Wisconsin who provides all necessary instruction and gear including paddles, helmets, lifejackets, and rafts appropriate to current river levels. During times of high water, participants paddle in large rafts with a guide in each boat, over roaring rapids, and through natural drops of up to 5 feet! During seasons with lower water, participants paddle 2 person rafts, or solo a “funyak” through the same thrilling features along the river! There is nothing better than a memorable day of rafting with your best friends on this trip, a Camp Nicolet tradition dating back to the 1960s, typically part of Nicolet’s Advanced Camper program. The adventure includes a picnic lunch and lots of fun in the sun!
The Details
